Default Helppppppppppp!

I missed a gear shifting from 3rd to 4th and hit second, immediately after my engine started to run funny, I changed the spark plugs but it still has a lack of power in all gears can any one help me out with what the problem may be?

I will quote you on that...

...Because it is the most illogical thing I have heard in a while. It he was shifting and missed a gear, he has a manual tranny and would not have a torque converter.

To the OP, worst case scenario is valve damage due to the over revving. Valve damage would lead to lost compression and loss of power.

There is also the possiblity of the ecu going into limp mode.
Try pulling the main engine relay and letting her sit for a few minutes.
G/l man.

I dont see how you are concluding over-revving your motor is a coil pack or spark plug issue.

go to sears and buy a compression gauge and check that first.

is your check engine light on now?

if it is just have someone with an obd2 scanner scan your car it. I think autozone will do this for free.

or better yet find someone with a vag-com
