Hey people. For those of you interested in the details of this weekend heres the low down:

Sunday is the main event for the weekend. The show is here at our shop in Sarasota. Show up between 9 and 10. Space is limited though so we can only allow VW and Audi cars in the actual show field. There is plenty of side parking though so everyone is welcome to come down and check out the cars. Judging is by popular ballot and there are small cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place in each category (who needs a $2 trophy?). APR will be here performing chip installs and showing off their new projects. There will also be many other shops represented but only privately owned and funded cars are allowed to enter the show. We feel thats only fair. More info is on our website at www.1552design.com .

Saturday at Desoto (Bradenton Speedway or something now) is just a bonus day. I know TR.com is having a get together on that day so dont feel bad about going to that and not the track. Like I said earlier the show itself is on Sunday and thats when most people will show up. Some of our out-of-town customers are going to be here the entire weekend so we wanted to offer them something to do. Unfortunately I could only gather up enough money to cover the entree fees for the VW/Audi guys. I wish we could cover everyones fees to enter and race but this event is already costing us a few thousand and we arent even going to be selling anything. Test and tune is from 10-3 thats when well be there. This is how it goes you pay to enter and/or race. As long as you leave before or at 3pm you get your entry fee back. Almost like a deposit to make sure the track is covered if you want to stay past 3pm. I hope this is acceptable its the only way the track people would work with us. VW/Audi cars will be able to park in the West side of the track. They have just paved that section and (from what I hear) they have renovated the restrooms.

I think I covered all points. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to call us at 941-343-0477 or email at tuner@1552design.com . Again this event is geared towards the Audi/VW cars but everyone is welcome to check em out.

Jim

Was that you I spoke to on Saturday morning? I didnt think of it until later on. I would have raced but I was stuck out front until late afternoon.

APR checked out my ECU. It turns out I had a very old version of their software. They could even feel the difference when they drove my car. I now have the newest version with EMCS and full boat of options. What a difference! So much smoother.
