Default Machanic needed

Im looking for a machanic that knows air cooled bugs. Its a 76 bug. I need someone that knows what there doing and won't give me outragious prices.

Its almost impossible to get started and when we can, it wont stay running. Its got a new motor, tranny, brakes, drums, most everything is new. After being screwed over and thousands of dollars later, It dont run!

what parts dident you replace with the new motor?

maybe a fuel line , dist , bad gas ?

it might be a problem in the car like one of those parts besides the motor.

lol my friend had the same problem with his bug the funniest thing happened turns out it was a simple problem he actually lost his idle screw while driving and his car was doing the same thing yours was starting for like a sec and then the rpms drop and it shuts off

there should be a selnoid looking thing on the carb, they sometimes loosen up and can cause the car to die after starting it.
