Default Gettin my feet wet...

So my girl has an 00' Jetta, bone stock. Shes getting tired of the way it looks and its balls slow-ness. Soooo.. heres where this thread comes in. I really would love to put some stock GLI aero on it, i think it looks really clean. Now the question... which wheels and at what offset should go on the car for that super sex clean wheel fitment that only VW's can pull off? As far as the slow-ness goes, i might be really dumb and come up with a safe turbo set up for the 2.0. But lets see some wheels, and offests.

For the exterior to give it a more sleek look i would put a badgeless grill on. Example:

Then too give it an agressive stance:
H&R Coilovers

And all girls love shoes and so do cars so:
Borbet A16x9

As for the motor, there are numberous things you can do to give it more power. I saw just put and intake and good exhaust system on it and just leave it alone. Thats just my 2 cents...

16x9 Borbets don't belong on MK4's. It would be hard to pull those wheels off without ripping off the oilpan.
17's & 18's fit a MK4.

I've seen it done before and they looked baller as hell... Plus anything is possible if you have money and the know how. 17s and 18s dont look right on MKIIIs but they can still go on there w/ modifications of course. Its all personal taste. And yes 17s & 18s do work on MKIVs but personally i like smaller wheels. So it was a suggestion that i was stating if he liked small wheels like me then there are options he can go with.

Btw since when does an oil pan have anything to do with wheels?

That doesn't mean it can't be done though. But what about the R32 wheels...

Or are you looking something more expensive... I would suggest going on vwvortex.com and take a look at all the wheels in the f/s section.
