Recall for VWs
FOXNews.com - Volkswagen Recalls 790,000 Cars for Brake Light Switch Issue - Hybrid Cars | Vehicles | Car Buying
It's funny because I saw this last night at Applebees, but about 6 hours earlier, I personally replaced my brake light switch. They wanted like 50 bucks for it including labor and stuff, but the part itself is 10.98 and takes about 5 minutes to take out and put a new one in. Just thought I would throw you guys a headsup. They have a new updated switch that is purple, forgot the ID number on it, but it is better than the original one put in.

That is a big recall. I think should have initiated it earlier.
I brought my car in into the dealer for A/C work and they replaced the brake light switch for free.... this was last summer.

I work at a VW dealer in Jacksonville. They change out all break light switches for free. Its under warranty no matter what the year. The vendor that makes those suck. I thought VW had already gotten rid of them. I didn't know they still had that problem.

I want THAT haircut!!
