ac question

Default ac question

was usin my ac and when i tried to turn it back to 0 , i couldnt cuz it'd just go as far as 2 ... then i try harder and shut it off ... next ime i tried to used it the ac light wont even light up , like a fuse is blown or some but i checked them all and they all good ... no air comes out of the vents not even for the heater ... whats u guys think might be wrong ... climate control? ... thanks a lot guys ...

Did you break the switch? You said it would only go to 2, then you "tried harder" and shut it off. It sounds like you forced the switch off and maybe broke it.

yea it could be that ... b4 it quit workin it went crazy i mean 1 was max speed , 3 was to shut it off ... and then it just didnt work anymore ... how hard is to fix that ?

If it is designed like any of VW other switches, it should just involve pulling of the panel cover and pluging in the new switch.

i ll see how i get that off ... so it wont involve removing the climate control ? cuz i been trying and its a p.i.t.a ..

To be honest, I'm not sure, I have never had to replace any of the climate control switches.

anyone know how to remove the climate control w/o breakin anything .... i looked it online but i dont find any instructions ...
