Default 02 sensor

I dont mean to be a pain with all my questions, but im curious.

over christmas I put a cat back exhaust on my car and my CEL came on as I figured it would and it was the 02 sensor. So I got it cleared and a day or so later it came back on, and I repeated the process, and tonight it came back on again so I am wondering if it is really bad and needs replaced or am I going to have to get my ecu chipped to clear it permanatly.

thanks

steve.

You only got a cat back? So the original Catalytic converter is still there? If so, you shouldn't be getting a cel from that. Was the code caused from the O2 sensor? I have seen the sensor get messed up during the install of a cat back, but a new sensor should take care of it.

About $50 for 5-wire wideband (before cat) and $150 for 4-wire non-WB (after cat) . . . not sure why though, the WB is what everyone wants.
