Default another turbo thread

Hey all, plannin on buyin the parts needed to boost my 2.o
Yes I know why turbo a 2.0 . . . . . Because the slowness is unbearable.

I know the basic equipment
Turbo(T3 or hybrid),mani,standalone/chip,fmi.

I wanted to know the odds an ends I might not think of. And also I found a site with cheep programmable ecu's I wanted an opinion on.(only catch is you have to soder everythingthing yourself, www.megasquirt.org

All help is appreciated Im a novice at boosting so ne input is helpful.

I boosted a 2.0 for a while, got 242whp. Nothing slow about that. Think HP goals and worry about tuning.

Will do. Also is there an Oem clutch that catches better than the stock 2.0 one ? Because mine is rediculously soft.

And the .AR on the turbo kinetics provides is a .48AR. not completely sure what it means but I think thats the exhaust side. isnt .48 kind of small for a t3t4?

from what i know, a .48 a/r seems right for what the kit was intended for. you could disect the whole things further but they did the rough math for you.

if you want a stronger oem clutch, go with the clutch from a tdi. the diesel clutch will hold up better than your stock one.
