if you have one of the 3 original keys you can buy a new key and reprogram it yourself. if not then when you buy a new key you either need a vag and reset the code or take it to the dealer for$150 and they will do it.i prefer tp find someone local with a vag and reprogram it myself for a case of beer or something.

Yea, I know. When I bought my car the guy I bought it from only had one key. The batt was dead on the key so I bought new ones but can't program it till I buy another key. How long did it take for you to get a new one?

There was a guy on here selling a Vag but that was a while ago. His name was jokr78. Don't know if he sold it.
