Default 06' Rabbits.....

Has anyone seen the new 2.5 Rabbits they got now. They look pretty good, I'm thinkin' about gettin' one soon. anyone have any idea about horsepower and fuel efficiency range ?

i drove by one the other day. it was black around dale mabry and fowler. looked pretty good.

all in all. it's just a 4 door GTI. and it really doesn't make sense, because i read something on dubdojo.com about there being a 4 door GTI coming out soon.

and it was going to be called a GTI, not a Rabbit. unless maybe they decided to call it something else.

I have an 06 Rabbit, I still call it a golf, Rabbit should be 84 and under only. For daily driving it is great. The horsepower is 150, 170 torque so it moves well. They have 2 door and 4 door version, mine is the 4 door. By September or October the 4 door GTI should be available, some dealers are already taking deposits and will order one for you. If you don't plan to mod it, I would go for the Rabbit since the price is much better than the GTI.

Ive driven the 2dr turbo gti and it feels good its quick and can take turns. Still looks diff than the rabbits on that damn mating comercial.
