my cuz just got an audi last week and the remote was kinda gay i mean was not workin good so he thought it might be the batteries . he went to the store to get new batteries but when he put them back in the remote it didnt beep, so he tried to start the car but i think since the alarm wasnt deactivated it wont start .... does anybody know what else can we try .... need help bad ... lmk

 

go to an audi or vw dealer?? idk, i havent had problems with my key yet...

 

I know that button is fun to press but you can always use the key to lock/unlock your doors.

 

Depending on ther year of your car you may have an immobilizer which can deactivate the ECM if the key fails. also the remotes can lose their initialization and have to be reset w/ the VAS 5051/52 or your local VAG-COM. I can give the procedure if you want it.
Immobilizer can only be reprogrammed at the dealer or a shop that has dropped LOTS of cash to get set up w/ VW/AUDI because the immob codes are only available from VW servers over a secure online connection. (Not online internet though.)
