supercharger questions????

Default supercharger questions????

i heard from different forums that if you turbo a car that if you have an aftermarket flywheel then you would actually lose hp and torque.. does it work the same if you supercharge your car???? thnx for info

I think it would depend on the weight of the flywheel, if you have a real light flywheel, it will be a pain to move the car from a start, it should rev easier though. I am not a fan of lightweight flywheels. I would stick with stock or maybe a few pounds lighter.

I had a 7lb flywheel on my civic but it was NA. It was very easy to drive, took a day to get use to it but after that it was great.

A civic is also a lot lighter than a VW so it takes less to get it moving.
