Default changin master cylinder in 92 cabriolet

hey Im in the process of changin the master cylinder in a 92 vw cabriolet. and I bench blead the master cylinder and I bled the brakes countless times. and still when I turn on the car the break pedal goes straight to the floor. I bleed from the furthest wheel from the master cylinder in that order. and nothing any ideas? could it be a faulty master cylinder? its a rebuild from advance auto parts. thanks
