Look at the side profile of the car. You can see how the front is lower than the rest, it doesn't look right.

And you own a mustang, what the hell do you know about VW's.

To RS20R03:
Jealous?? WTF?? And why would I go on vortex, where 99% of the people with MK4's care about big rims and other exterior modifications, that isn't my taste. I am just pointing out that he needs to complete the look, it isn't has hot as you all make it out to be. Swapping front ends, putting a lip and some rims on aren't that impressive.

To the last guy that posted, do you see on your car how you have the complete look, front, sides and rear. He doesn't have that, having just the front lip makes the front end of the car look disproportionate to the rest of the car. Its like looking at a hot girl with a big nose, you'll still look, but it isn't perfect.

Never said it looks horrid. I didn't tell you what you need to do 5 times, I was explaining to these other people what I was talking about. If you don't want people to comment on your car, don't post pictures on a public forum.

Right, a 1.8t with rims and a lip aren't a dime a dozen, I am sure everyone must agree with you.

Really?? Thank you captain obvious. I am so glad I have a mustang guy that knows sooooo much about VW's giving me these great comments.

Here is what type of stuff you hear in the 1.8t forum and MK4 forum:
"I heard if I chip my 1.8t, I can beat evo's"
"What is the best BOV for my car"
"Would these 19's look good on my car"

That is real useful info, I guess I should start reading every post on there.

I'd say go for it as long as you are gonna get the complete kit. Pick up a set of RC's and lower that mofo.

Just look for someone parting out a GLI and try to pick them up cheap, as far as painting costs, it would probably depend on quality of work, but I honestly have no idea.

For rims, I love the RC's off the GLI, and there are a new style 18 from the passat, and from the golf V. All are pricey though, unless you can find a used set.
