so ive been looking for a GTI VR6 but theyre hard to find in good conditions for sale...all i can find are the standards or the pussy 1.8T...so i was wonderin if thers any way that u could put a Audi engine in the GTI that will push as much as the VR6 or more...if so how much money would it be n how much work?? than for the help

you can do just about anything you want. or you could go stage 3 with your 1.8t.
or you could just say, "F#$k 'em all" and drop in a W8.

 

Put a northstar engine into it.

 

Swapping engines??? Who has ever heard of such madness??

 

Decide on the engine, then go with what you want done to it. Also if you are going to swap the engines and plan on doing further work, do it before you put it in the car. This will save you time and money in the long run.
