vr6 vs chipped 1.8t
*edit* please leave this in here..these are the only people who care about vw*
i know this is probably gonna get moved but i just wanted to post this in here first for the 1.8t guys...
so im pullin into blockbuster tonight and had the windows down no music or anything else on..as im pulling in i here a turbo spooling up behind me followed by the bov..sure enough its a 1.8t GTI...so as im parking he parks right next to me..
he asks about my jetta:
"is it the 1.8t?"
me "nope vr6"
him "aww thats to bad i was gonna ask if you wanted to run"
me "ya to bad u dont wanna get beat by all motor car"
him "got any mods?"
me "nope shes all stock"
him "well its not gonna be much of a race"
me "what do u have done to yours?"
him "giac chip and hks bov"
me "well we can run if u want"
he accepts the race and we head out onto a empty street
~first run 12 mph roll
3 honks and were off were stayin even till about 60 then i start to pull and he lets off..
we head back to block buster and he said lets go again from a dig so i accepted and we head back out..
~2nd run from dig
i pull him out of the hole 1/2 a car then continue pulling until i hear him let off again..
so again we head back to block buster he said i dont think its stock so i pop the hood and he said "have u even popped the hood since u have had the car?" then i said "ehh once or twice"
he shook my hand and said good runs and he drove away..

this is in the northside of lakeland..i have never seen him around before tho so i dont know if he was just passing through or what..
