Default Need Help, having weird boosting issue.

sup folks. im running the revo software along with the mods listed below. ive noticed that my car is spiking to 20 psi and immediately droping to about 16-17psi and holding. then it drops slowy till red line like normal. before, my car would spike 20 psi, hold, and slowy drop till red line. if i switch it back to stock mode, the car hits 9 psi, holds, and very slowly drops till red line. the other day, i switched the car to stock mode, drove around for a few hours, then switched back to the default chipped mode, lb 9 t 4. the car would spike 20, hold, and slowly drop like it should. i thought then, that the issue was corrected but the next morning she started to boost all weird again. this happens every day all day. at first i thought it could be the cool weather, but even on warmer days it does this. i tried disconnecting my battery for a few hours and that didnt help. ive set the chip back to stock mode for now till i can figure out whats going on. any help would be appreciated. also, if anyone is free this weekend that has a vag-com, that might help shed some light on this issue.
hope this all makes sense.

thanks
jorge.

oh, im also still running the stock k03. just another 15k miles and in goes a disco potatoe.

you have a check engine light? A bad sensor(MAF sensor, Exhaust temp Sensor, Coolant temp sensor) could trigger boost fluctuations. Any small leaks could do the same as well. A bad N75 valve? I take it the 007 is the diverter so that's ok. Just trying to list some of the usualls. I have a VAG. If you're in the New Tampa area i'd be happy to check for codes for you.

ive checked the dv and its good. ive also tried turning down my timing using my revo sps 3 but that didnt help. if i keep the boost around 14 psi she runs ok but i want 20 psi. im going to try disconnecting the maf to see what happens. im thinking its the maf freaking out do to the denser air but im not sure. thanks for the input. oh and kyle, i might send you a pm about the vag-com.

I have an Audi which does the same thing. It is normal to spike to 20psi then fall back down 14-16psi and higher rpm. I was told is does it because the car is leaning out and cant maintain full boost. It is normal to me and i leave it chipped also do u have other mods. B/C with the audi i have all the mods and front mount intercooler for it and it runs pretty damn good. ONe more thing APR has a stage 1+ which includes bigger injectors which gives the 1.8t better power in higher rpm's
