hey, i've got a completely stock 1998 jetta vr6. its auto too are there any relatively cheap mods i can do that will give my car some "class." trying to be a "baller on a budget" if you know what i mean. my friend suggested springs for like $100 so any other ideas you might have.

 

Swap in a manual tranny, so you can run out those gears. What do you mean by "class"? For looks only I am guessing. Lower it, get a nice set of BBS wheels (although not cheap), maybe an aftermarket grill, or something. Overall, cheap, and VW don't go well together when you want to modify it. If you wanna be a "Baller" sell your dub, get a Lac on twenty-fo's and put a system in it.
