les i a good mechanic just watch him close.....i have a 96 vr6 and i heard that the cam is not a big difference....but if the other guys think so then go 4 it

 

I've had some work done by les in the past(97-99) and I can say he does/knows what he's doing. His prices are pretty good also. As far as the cam, 260 will be fine for your GTI. And yes, that's a good price.

its not that its a big difference especially alone but what it does it open up the car through the higher rpms
