Default turbo timer

Do I need a turbo timer on a 01 a6. It says in the manual to let the car cool down after hard driving 2 mins but it has twin turbo's that appear to be cooled from the radiator.

This is the first turbo car I have owned and don't know too much about the whole forced induction set up.

If you dont want to sit and wait a few minutes then get a Timer. Apparently oil runs through the turbos after the car is shut down but i've never heard anything running after my car is shut off, and i wasnt going to take the chance. I'll blow enough turbos as it is.

im guessing that it would void your warranty, but as far as getting it done, you can buy one and there are a few guys on www.tampaveedubs.com that will install it for you.
