Default CV Shaft?!?!
My car 97 VW Jetta, is clickin really bad and my gear shifter also shakes pretty rapidly at times. It just started doing it. I was wondering if it is because of loose cv shafts bad cv shafts or if it could be something else!?!?!

IT could be a bad inner CV if its clicking. Can you tell which side its on. ALso lift your car up and check for any rubber boot cracks.

thanks...I'm replacing the cv shaft bolts tomorrow...there were two broken off.
