Default vr6 upgrades

hey, ive got a 2000 jetta gls vr6, and im looking for upgrades to do beyond common bolt ons (intake, exhaust, suspension, chip), like cams and other engine performance mods. I want to basically know what I can do to make this car as fast as possible without forced induction, keeping it all motor. I'd like to get FI but i just dont find it worth it if its going to cause me car troubles (please explain if you think differently). I'm looking into first getting an AEM CAI, TT exhaust, GIAC chip, and then iridiums. After that, I don't know what to do, and I need suggestions.. Let me know what you think. thanks in advance

Here's a dyno chart of a VR6 with these mods: Big Valve Head 41mm Intake & Exhasut Valves - Lightened Valve Retainers - Schrick Springs - Ported and Polished - TT 2.5 Exhaust - Schrick 268 Cams - Schrick VGI - PRM Intake

I will be honest. I don't really know anything about the VR6, but I did some research. Here's the page I found the dyno charts on. http://vr6dyno.cjb.net/

That should give you some ideas on what you want to do for what amount of power. I would also say, hold off on the big wheels if you're really looking for enhanced performance.
