Default I want a daily driver VW

What should I get? I want a 2 door, leather, and cd. That is it. I am not that well versed on VW. I am going to get one new. Please post some ideas. I have searched all over, but there are no concrete pro/cons of cars that are in relation to the average daily driver.

I think all new VWs come with cd players.

2 door VW with leather... What about a GTI? Otherwise your 2-door options aren't very broad.

no mods: go with a VR6 much smoother and more power out of the box.

If your not doing any mods how about a TDI 2 door Golf, good gas milage and probably good for daily driving. 2.0liter motor that everyone slams is also a good daily driver if you don't care about speed also. The only thing is I don't think VW offers a 2door golf 2.0l/TDI with leather and other high end stuff

Yeah, the VR6 sounds nice and is just a bit quicker than the 1.8T, but the 1.8T gets better gas mileage and with gas prices these days that is extremely important.

I have a GTI 1.8T as my daily driver. I love it. It's the master of all daily driving. No, not all VW's come with CD players. I had a 2 door golf (Mk4) with just cassette and AM/FM. you have to ask for the Monsoon sound system. If you want leather, you have to ask for the leather package (or cold weather package).

Also, it depends on how much money you're looking to spend. The VR6 is going to be a couple grand more than the 1.8T.

Obviously my opinion is biased since i drive a 1.8T, but i'm also addicted to BOOST.
