looking for restoration place
I'll give you some advice, avoid Fisher Buggies! I have never heard one good thing about any of their mechanical work since I've been into VW's (roughly 14 years). Just buying parts from them was a hassle sometimes since they didn't know much about Type 3's, which is what I have. Also, avoid the VW shop on Fletcher and 22nd (I Think), in the USF area. That guy is a complete tool and ripped me off once.
Total Performance used to be good, but I'm not sure if they are still in business. I know there are few other smaller shops around, but I can't think of any names right now.

go to classic camber in st. pete they are good guys and alwas try to help you out, they used to be customers of my dads at his volkswagen shop and if you ever need oldskool german parts call me up at 727-251-7508 and i can do work on your shit i have lots of aircooled vws euro 60 beetle is one of the nice ones, and i'm trading my 75 beetle for a crx hit me up if you need help
