I had a teacher who showed us this in 6th grade. He died in September of 2021, I will never forget him because he would always help me with everything I needed. He treated me and the whole class like we were his own children. Now I am 23 and I’m crying while writing this

This makes me miss my dad. He was going to major in business, but when he heard about the teacher shortage, he went where he was needed. I'm immensely proud of the man he was, and happy to see teachers who care so much despite being paid so little. But rest assured they do get paid one way or another.

As a teacher myself, I love this movie! I've visited his Ron Clark academy in Atlanta, Ga. He is truly an amazing educator and very inspiring! His Essential 55 rules hang in my first grade classroom and I implement many of them. I also had my picture made with him during my visit to the RCA and it's also sits in my classroom, along with an inspiring message written on it from the amazing RC!

Wow, What an incredible story. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Mr. Ron Clark is more than an amazing teacher , he's a blessing to children who have lost their way in the educational system. His dedication to these children is something rarely found in today's schools. I guess it might be safe to say, if a student find one self assigned to a teacher with the surname Clark , ( Joe and Ron ), They'll be educated from a sincere, devoted and loving heart.

A wonderful (and true) story which only goes to show that the APPROACH to teaching is far more important than the actual subjects being taught, because children need to be shown their own abilities through their self-respect and self-discipline without being forced. Children need their teachers AND their parents to guide them towards achieving what they initially conceive to be impossible, and learning to explore what their own minds are capable of. Yes, we can sometimes learn by our own mistakes, but we can also learn by others' mistakes, too. I like how the teacher said, "I teach you, and you teach me"...)

I watched this show while contributing to a manual for new teacher on the importance of getting to know your students. I am here crying like a baby; snot runnimg down and all. I pray i will develop Mr. Clark's patience. Very heartful and inspiring story.

Everyone on this earth deserves the chance to live up to their potential. No matter how smart they may or may not be. Mr Clark proved that if you treat students with respect, they will respect you back. Show people that you care and they will care in return. Never set limits at what a person can.

Lastly, I want to say that is is true. Teachers really do love their students.

I've watched a lot of movies since I've been streaming movies onto my big screen TV. I must say this has to be the best movie all around. Good quality, along with an awesome heartwarming story. If only more teachers were as dedicated as Ron Clark. Thanks for this great upload. Yes....I cried too!!

 

My 4th year in high school, I failed every one of my classes but Ms Swicegood's English Literature class.

Later on I read that she was the teacher of the year in the county......
and Teacher of the Year for the whole State of North Carolina......

Even today I remember the stories in the English Literature book.

God blessed me to have been in her class.

...and later in life I became a teacher myself.
