In operation from 1964 until 1972, the Razorback platoon flew combat missions in support of ground troops and military operations.They were instrumental in the defense of Saigon and Tan Son Nhut Airbase during the TET offensive of 1968.

Through the eyes of the men that lived it, this documentary reflects the dichotomies of war, its aftermath and the bonds of friendship which endure. Over forty years after the Vietnam war a group of Army veterans talk about their experiences while flying in the Razorback gunship platoon.

Their stories reflect the changing face of the war as it progressed, the exhilaration and tragedy of battle and the friendships that endured over the years. Memories and Shadows forever cling.
