As an aside, Michael Ansara later became a star in the TV show "Cochese".

The big rancher bears a close resemblance to the owner of the Double Deuce
bar in the movie "Roadhouse" with Patrick Swayze.

I love this film! It's even better than The Lone Ranger and the Lost City of Gold made in 1957. I love this one because it gave Clayton Moore an opportunity to show a different character (he DID have quite a range) and he got an opportunity to smile a few times. He and Jay Silverheels were the two BEST Lone Ranger and Tonto.
