Not a great movie, perhaps, but a really good one. Thanks for posting this. There are innuendoes here, many that I, too, have experienced. Those who 'don't get it', just need a little more time, perhaps, maybe to have experienced rejection in their lives, maybe by someone you really, truly love? And maybe, just maybe, they don't love you? Powerful stuff, that.

What a lovely evocative and quietly emotive story; the pieces put together like a string of pearls. At times those pearls snipped and spilling onto the floor. Sad. Yes. But all the more real for the sadness. Sometimes we need to see lives of characters that are worse off emotionally than we. We can safely weep for other's pain when our own is tied up in a knot inside. I really like this movie. Thank you!

i liked the way the hubby tried, tho her heart had already hardened too much. in the supermarket when he followed her on his trolly and reminded doing that before they got married put a nice smile on her face there ... for a while until she sunk back into depression. Then scene 54:00 to 55:00 where he really acted like a true man and called her several times, despite her hanging up, but then he left a message saying how sorry he is for having taken her for granted all those marital years ... that was a great job he did. any spouse should 'man' it up and confess their wrongs to the other and try to work things out, no? yeaaaa

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I'm watching now for the 2nd time. I'm catching quite a few bits that I missed last time while I was focusing on the obvious.The bits of the dialog, some under the breath, nuances I hadn't noticed the first viewing I'm finding well worth the re-run. It probably wouldn't be the typical film I'd go view at the movie theater, but at home where you can hit 'PAUSE'and'REWIND.....perfect. Hope that'was helpful,
