This show begins with Sonny's attempt to get into show business, which rapidly happens after he meets up with Cher - then later on his career as a mayor, which is cut short by his tragic death on the ski slopes, and finally his funeral attended by many notables.

Sonny and Cher The Good Times

Sonny and Cher appear as themselves in this spoof of various genres, including mysteries, westerns and spy thrillers. The plot revolves around a film contract offered to Sonny by powerful executive Mr. Mordicus. Sanders also plays the antagonist in each of Sonny's ideas for the proposed film, which are played out in a number of skits featuring music and dancing by the star duo.
