At the very early point of 3:30 into the movie and that includes credits, the first major scene starts with the fairly typical firefight. An army unit consisting of one old Humvee with four soldiers has gone over the Mexican border into some remote village to pick up a drug lord the local cops are handing over to US authorities. NO officials, not at the actual border, from local Mexican cops.

Then bad guys show up in a pickup truck about six of them and out come the assault rifles, bullets flying at each side and the two vehicles. Meanwhile the drug lord the bad guys are trying to save is sitting inside the jeep. Next a shot of the jeep as the army, now two down in numbers or so, is trying to get inside and flee, no help from the two Mexican cops holed up safely inside the stucco building a few feet away the army guys are ignoring in preference for the cover of a jeep with a cloth roof. The jeep after a few hundred bullets already, shows no marks, no broken glass. At this point I stop to write with no intent to watch a single second more. Is this a terrible movie? I wouldn't be in this movie for all the Mary Jane in Mexico.
