After screened at the Dam Short Film Festival on Friday, February 6th, 2015 in Boulder City, Nevada!
AFTER is a short film and the proof of concept for a science fiction television series. We are currently developing the story for a longer format and do not have plans to produce another low-budget episode at this time.
AFTER tells the story of Emily Blair, a mother of two in modern day America. But after a car crash, she wakes up in an abandoned town. She eventually finds someone else in the town, but she comes to regret it as she discovers that the world has been forever altered by catastrophe, and she has been altered even worse.
The inspiration for AFTER comes from J.J. Abram's hit television series, Lost, Alex Proyas' movie Dark City, and dystopian and post-apocalyptic novels like Orwell's 1984, Huxley's Brave New World, Zamyatin's We and Cormac McCarthy's The Road.
