My memory must be failing me,or was there another movie featuring Elvis as the hero,and Fabian as the heavy and driving the custom 'Cuda? Yes,this movie is profoundly naive and pretentious,but that was the way America was then. I was a 5th/6th grader at that time,old enough to see how things were,not old enough to take part in it,beyond what I could do from a bicycle seat.How I yearned,hopelessly,to have a '67 GTO. Eventually did,in the late 1980s,bought it from the original owner,still in cherry condition.
