Richard Petty of Motorsports fame will grace the red carpet at the Mecum Dallas auction for the offering of this Petty Garage-customized 2015 Ford Mustang GT. Built on behalf of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, this car will be offered with proceeds to benefit the 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
- Quick Specs -

For more than 68 years, the Paralyzed Veterans of America has been on a mission to help those that have been seriously injured in service to our country. The organization has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction. The organization has changed lives and helped brighten the future of many of these men and women.
Richard Petty has long supported the PVA, working to raise awareness and financial funding for the organization, and his donation of this Mustang continues that tradition. The internals of the car are impressive featuring a Roush TVS 2300 Supercharger with cold-air intake and Magnaflow exhaust. The upgraded front and rear brake lines carry the stopping power supplied by the Petty’s Garage-branded Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes. It is the exterior that really makes the car stand out in a crowd, though. With a custom two-tone Petty Black and Blue paint job, signature Petty’s Garage rear spoiler and three-piece VMC forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Continental tires, this car is an unapologetic attention-grabber. And as admirers get left in the dust, this GT’s pilot can sit back and enjoy the comfort of the Katzkin custom leather interior featuring both Petty’s Garage and PVA logos.
