Quick math lesson:
Speed of sound is approximately 769mph at 68*F in dry air. [Assuming] it is somewhere around 105*F, the speed of sound will be bumped to 797mph. With roughly a 6 second delay between explosion and sound/shockwave, this leads one to calculate the explosion to be approx. 1.33 miles away...
That's one hell of an explosion!
