Friend of mine built this gold Z28 in Mississippi. Rumor has it that this run was for around 10K, and both cars are in the high 8 second range.

GOD DAMN, what a crazy ride that poor bastard just went on.... I hope he made it out alive & intact.

 

I guess he had a few scratches and was very confused as to what happened. I call that a win in my book.

I never heard anything otherwise, although, it is said to be tradition that most guys that come with W's out of these situations tend to cut big amounts out of bets to help out. Kinda keeps it friendly. Personally, I ran a bike a while back for 2k and he laid it down. I cut him 50% out of pity, and we went our ways. My opinion: I'm still leaving with a grand, might as well be nice about it.

I agree. Most grudge guys are hood rats, I mean from gold teeth to every 3rd guy has a set of dreads and a blunt. Even those guys have the respect and understanding that win/lose, we wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for eachother. Now if you legit lost and don't pay up, god help you. For the most part, even the most gang banger appearing grudge racers stay out of trouble and focus on the motorsport.

Grudge racing is basically street racing on a track (most of the time) and takes a lot of negotiating and repect. Not for the faint of heart or hot headed.
