I believe the correct term would be"stock shortblock". Being there are cams in it voids the "longblock" term. I'm going with twin 044 pumps on my build too. Those are nasty little fuggers!

 

You are the first to mention the word longblock. I said stock block and no headwork (porting, oversized valves, aftermarket springs, etc.) aside from 272 cams.

 

941 on stock everything except cams is SICK!!! awesome job!!!

 

So you have a stock shortblock thats it. By definition a longblock is comprised of the shortblock, heads and cam(s). Saying stock block leaves it to interpretation. Clarifying it down to the short or long clears matters up. Its like saying yes I own a sports car. Could be an stock n/a rx7 or a T78 supra. A bit of a difference. See my point?
