YouTube - Underground Racing Twin Turbo Gallardo Crashes At 200+MPH Texas Mile

Video from past weekend's Texas Mile event. Chute pulled the car to the side and made it go off course. Don't think its clear if it was the cross winds or other issues with the car.

Due to the safety equipment the driver WALKED away from this accident.

 

That car was squirrely last time it was out, wasn't it? I remember he lost it on the first run, and then braking on the second run he did as well.

I'm sure the 20mph head wind didn't help.

 

His first time out he lost it every run I believe, but then again I don't think he was using his chute on those runs

 

A chute is supposed to keep the car straight. If you look at the video frame by frame his brake lights are on before the chute fully deploys which I think caused the car to lose control. You are supposed to drive into the chute, not brake before it is deployed.

It kept the car straight.....just not in the right direction, which lead towards a berm.

 

he should have never deployed the chute, it picked up that ass end like nohing which was the reason for the car comming off the ground and tumbling like that

 

Parachute was not kiting. And he flipped because he hit a berm.
