Hey faggot, how do you get internet to your home? Is there a wire that goes from those servers to your PC? no? then your internet can be taken away from you.
Did you ever stop and think that maybe "turn off the internet" was a figure of speech? While this idea is outrageous, the government could always disconnect users from their ISP by ordering them to shut down, or if you're a loony, "taking over control."
No, they cannot shut down the internet, but they can disable millions of peoples connections if they wanted too.
