Honda's CLASS RULES limit them to 72mm turbo's that doesn't mean they can't spool BIGGER turbo's either. The vette is using a gt55 91mm turbo.. You can't compare the boost levels on both of these cars.
NRG Tech's civic weighs in at 2550lbs he leaves the weight at that so he can run in any sanctioned event.
What makes the corvette any more a street car then the civic? Last I new a widebody kit a.k.a 3 piece front end didn't make a car a "Race Car".
