My S60R @ The Race Track
Good times, good times.
I finally had a chance to run my car at the ERS race course located near Starke and I'm so glad I did.
Welcome to Ivor Wigham's European Rally School and Motorsport Park in Starke, Florida USA

I managed to get over two hours of track time in. So much I burned completely through my recently replaced front brembo pads, lol, but it was well worth going through a set of pads to have such an opportunity.
Was a nice range of cars there, everything from race-modified, non-street-legal track cars to street car folks like myself. I'm glad to say that with the exception of a race prepped miata with a S2000 motor swap and another race prepped Turbo ACR with an intercooler larger than my radiator I appeared to be faster around the course than anything else there.
In addition to the above cars, there was a lotus, honda, acura, bmw, mitsu, toyota, mini, vette, and probably a few other cars I'm forgetting at the moment.
Pictures speak a thousand words though, so here's some vid of the more fun stuff from track time there.

Crazy Camber, Stretch & Poke; its the new triple-stack-bleacher-wing ricer fad that's all the rage nowadays, lol

LOL, serious tires and some serious power to weight as well. The way he just pulled away on the straights was amazing.
The tires are Nitto NT555s, a hard compound street performance tire, but I must admit I was impressed with how they performed on the track. Brakes were the OEM pads, but then again its a factory-brembo system so stock isn't bad on the R.
I was expecting to leave the event needing a new set of tires but with intact brakes. It ended up turning out the other way though.
My well worn OEM rotors were at the end of their lifetime after 106K miles anyways so I just ordered an upgraded set of drilled and slotted rotors and will probably continue to use the OEM pads and just pop in racing pads for events the next time around.

I was, it was so hot out that when I got stuck behind slower moving traffic I was sometimes turning the A/C on out there, lol.
I was also sometimes tweaking the suspension settings too which is above the vents, like I did when that race prep miata starts leaving me in the dust, lol.
