Indeed, its ashame some of these dudes have had these cars so long and still dont know how to drive them, let alone make them fast.

My 94 vert runs probably a 16 or 17, my limo....Well, I never really "raced" it, but it's probably an 18 or 19 second car.....My 67 is well...classified....but not as quick as it used to be because I'm giving it to my kid in a few months. It used to run 10.67 @ 127mph ....and my 65....well, it doesn't run yet. sooooo....yeahhh....But coming out of a 10 second 1/4 mile car....I can tell you that neither of those cars ran anything faster than a 13 second 1/4 mile on that run.

Pretty sure they are faster then 13-14second 1/4 mile.

 

My daily driver runs 10.3@132mph, does that make me even more qualified then you to guess street racing ET's? Judging by the mods on the Evo that I know of, low 12's is a much more fair assumption.

 

On a prepped track, no doubt theyre faster then the street.

 

oh idk if there is another vid of these two racing im just saying usually GAL vids have like 3 or 4 different races in one vid.

 

not doubting the mustang needs a WELL PREPPED track,but as you see in the video,the evo gets out the hole just fine to cover a 13 second trap time.

 

Not sure why you guys r fighting over track times..it was a street race youcan see the evo gets a better jump but the mustang is faster.itcaught upwith no problem and I'm sure passed it..if it was a trackvideothen then I can see where times would matter

Track times is a way to measure "How Fast" a car is,other then side by side racing.
