get with the program it was sold to chinese, ford sold volvo to chinese geele or how ever you spell it.

 

VW and Toyota offer automatic parking systems to their customers over here.....think they also do it in the States but not sure.....havent met anyone who ordered it with his/her new car.

All I need to get around are my parking distance sensors because the rear end of my Compact is very high and I have limited 3d visibility (my eyes suck lol).

The only thing I sometimes wish my car would have are a 6th gear as an overdrive for Autobahn journeys and an automatic transmission for city traffic.......fuck all those other gadgeds because it makes people lazy and unaware of traffic, so they fuck things up more than a driver who actually has to drive his car ALONE.

 

Wow, well you can see the back tire locks up, but doesnt stop the car in time.. i think it needs more test runs, not a bad concept, but i would agree, why would someone need that? Thats like auto pilot in a car...

 

The auto-brake system is suppose to prevent rearend collisions. Another main reason is when people fall asleep behind the wheel, the car would come to a stop.

 

they should ring up BMW and Mercedes because theirs works.

 

Its not to be used daily its for when stupid fucks aren't paying attention. As long as people don't TRY to use it or depend on it, its a great system.

 

Theirs doesnt actually prevent a rear end collision..it just prepares for it by applying brakes to slow the car down, reducing impact force and lessening injury and damage. It only goes full lock .5 sec before impact.

 

Ford already screwed volvo by stealing all their tech and platforms for their lousy brand while at the same time not marketing volvo in the US which is one of their biggest markets.

Now that they are done stealing from and undercutting volvo they sell the remains to some chinese car company. Way to go ford.
