Is this the same car in your sig... If so, your trap speed is severely slacking... I trap around 77 with 150 less horsepower and no benefits of AWD.

Damn, I was thinking that even a mid 90s V8 stang would have more than 200 HP at the crank. Are you sure you got your math right? I would assume you would only be a few horses short of my 2.5 liter.

Also keep in mind that my car weighs 3750 lbs with no one in it, so I've got some extra weight and a couple extra doors and other additional accessories to haul around that you dont.

Then again I'm trapping at 77 without trying to get off the line hard and then waiting for boost to kick in.

If that's the best you can do I can see why I haven't had a mustang beat me yet, lol.

About 300 at the wheels, so about 350 at the crank.

It needed a bath that night, but thanks man.

You lose 50+hp in drivetrain on a manual car.cmon man.And stock 5.0's have about 200hp to the wheels stock.

Damn, I didn't realize stock GTs were so weak. Explains why I always walk all over them despite their big weight advantage on me.

I was playing around with a newer modded stang last week on the interstate and my advantages are certainly even more noticible from a roll.

Bone stock 5.0's run very very low 9's depending on the driver, full weight, with street tires... If you want, I'll put my MAYBE 200 horsepower overweight pig up against your cute little Volvo anytime. As for getting off the line hard?? Yeah, a 2.3 60' time is a real hard launch. I'd gladly wipe the floor with your boosted, AWD, 350 hp car with my little old carbon infested pushrod. Hopefully you can see past all the oil blow by as it passes by.

As for big weight advantages, my car has been said to weigh in around 3400 or so with no driver. Your horsepower should make up for that difference no problem...
