Seems like a damn good ride! I love seeing imports that are done properly. Usually the domestic owners go by the 'there's no replacement for displacement' BS but me, I know there is. It's called spray and/or boost.

What time did it run at the track? With a 125mph should get low 11s.

lol, it SHOULD...but, i think it did 12.0 and when he actually got it to hook it broke an axle, so its a roll racing car until he can get the good axles which he told me cost around 1000-1500 dollars!

He really shouldn't need to buy those 1000 dollar axles. I have a rebuilt axle and one from discount. Now on Drag radials at the track I break axles, but as long as I preload on slicks I haven't had a problem. I run a 11.1 and trap at 128mph myself just to get you idea that it is possible on shitty axles. Really just need to understand how to preload correctly.

i think they are required custom axles since its an h series tranny in a integra. the axles he already broke are custom gator axles. yea, youre right about the preloading, i just dont think he was thinking about it that time. he wants a car he can go out and race and not break though.

I'm not a super fan of Drive shaft shop axles myself. I had a pair that broke at the track and they didn't even try the metal just snapped. That was when the car was on the motor too. So it would take alot to get me to hand over money for aftermarket axles. It is possible to have a car to go out and race and it not break. Your chances of it breaking go up, but I don't have alot of problems and I drive it everyday. Anyways tell your buddy goodluck with the car and when he is in Tampa let me know he'd be a good race..
