I text and drive on a daily basis. To me, its like speeding. Yes its illegal, but when you do it in a 'safe' manner, its fine. Leave yourself plenty of following distance between you and the car in front of you, make sure your aware of your surroundings, and only look down intermittently, not staring and being totally oblivious like the video. Keep in mind, this is just my $0.02.
