less traction usually means higher trap. With better traction the trap speeds would have been closer, but the .1 margin would be more. These cars honestly shouldn't be compared at all with a 20k sticker price difference. And it being the base v8 camaro vs the top of the line mustang.

Not for the third gens... Those 305 Camaros were pretty much... Shit. I love the body, though. A third gen with an LS1/T56 swap would be sweet.

I'm pretty sure that the cobra can go a lot faster in a real track with a decent driver!

Ok first off, the 03-04 terminators stock would run a 12.8-12.9. the new gt500 with a good driver and not a motortrend reject behind the wheel would pull off a 12.1-12.3. If they got someone who new how to launch a boosted v8 they're times would be alot better. The camaro is sexy and has alot of power, and can put it down quite nicely. they are both sexy and wouldn't mind either of them.

Besides anybody who has driven a muscle car knows you don't floor it out the hole, which is obviously what they did.

I drove a brand new SS the other day, not impressed. I didn't get to drive it too fast(had 40 miles on it) but I didn't like it. I've driven the 6cyl new comaro too, they both suffer from horrible visibility(obviously).
