You werent hitting that very hard, in my s2k I never left 7k rpms while I was up there! I was barely ever in 3rd except for some of the long straights which are far and few between.

You have 6 gears and a 9k redline. I have 5 gears and a 6500 redline. Huge difference. I needed 3rd gear often. I was doing 60-70 on some of the longer sections.
I was sitting on my redline in 2nd almost the entire road, except in the middle part of the video where I kept it in 3rd for a minute.
The video is looks alot slower than the run really was. You can hear my tires squeal in parts of the vids. I'm running 255-40-17 NT05's on all 4 corners, so I was pushing. I was also rubbing the hell out of the front tires.

Haha thanks, it was a blast. Even more so than last year. I heard you dont have the S2k any more. That really sucks hard. Hopefully you can get something worth taking up there soon!

Haha yeah me and 2 friends went up there for a few days to do nothing but drive all the awesome roads in the area. I think we covered 600+ miles of roads in the 2 full days we were there. My car is really boring in florida since I have a Stock KA with an exhuast so I've been itching to put it to good use. Plus I just got it put back together after I wrecked it last november.

and thumbs down to camera pictures, they always look slower than you actualy were......I have some videos from Nürburgring and a Hillclimb track, when I sit there and watch them I also think "damn that looks sooo slow!"
