1st they are one of the fastest fish in water.....they dont just hang around.
2nd falling from that far (still pretty high) and impacting a 200 lb fish that is 99% muscle would no doubt fuck something up. it would be like jumping out of a 3 story building and tackling a person.... someone is getting fucked
3rd that have you ever seen fishing shows......it takes basically metal wire to get one of those into a boat, even with that it takes em like 1/2 hr. that fish would have fucked that guy up.

Read a book, magazine, watch discovery channel for fucks sake. They catch everything on camera there is to be caught and if you watched the video you would know the marlin was after a school of fish which is pretty obvious to see. Did you miss the part on him being in a helicopter?
