I LOVED the gas chamber when I was in. I think that was the best part of boot for me. The rest...Meah...I could take it or leave it....Of course, Navy boot is kinda pussy compared to Army or Marine corp boot. I wanted it to be more physical....but whatever. I'm still trying to get into the Army...But the current requirements are too stringent, and no waivers are being granted. (and I need a few major ones...RE-4 OTH FTL

^LOL I thought it was AWESOME! I would do it again in a heartbeat! It was the only time I ever actually "hurt" when I was in boot camp. 
I thought PT was kinda fun, but we didn't do any crawling around in the mud like you guys. I WANTED to...but they wouldn't let us. Fucking Navy bootcamp. Not a lot of demand for knowing how to crawl around in the mud on a ship though. 
LOL My next most memorable exp in the military was in the Persian Gulf. Of course, this was in like 87 or so....We had guy coming out and shooting .50 cals at us from little speedboats. Freaking tools. And the whole time, I got to listen to it from INSIDE the ship. I hated that crap. I felt so useless. I wanted to go outside and repay the favor. LOL
And now that I'm more mature and more capable, the military doesn't want me. Fuckers.
<--Thoguht about joining the FFL, but I simply couldn't live with myself if I had to learn French and fight for France. Plus, you join with them and suddenly you are single (even if you are married), but you can go in under an alias. I kinda liked that part. LOL

Yeah...I wish I could go back to boot camp for free...and w/o the 4-8 yr commitment. But...alas...They will not allow me to do it even if I DO make the commitment. Hell, they won't even allow me to make the commitment. Oh well. I'll keep waiting on North Korea to jump again...
