Capoeira is a hard fighting style to apply in the real world. As a matter of fact I believe it is not even a valid fight style...more of an exhibition style.... like b-boy/break dancing.

maybe if it is used fleetingly as a misdirection or setup for an actual attack, it may be effeective if it confuses the opponent but any fighter worth his salt will do just about exactly what that guy did in that situation and drop that goofball easily.
