actually thats zumba which is african fight dancing......and yes it can be effective.

maybe if it is used fleetingly as a misdirection or setup for an actual attack, it may be effeective if it confuses the opponent but any fighter worth his salt will do just about exactly what that guy did in that situation and drop that goofball easily.
